Responsibilities
As an Automation Technician you will be responsible for the successful operation and maintenance of the Dematic Goods-to-Person Automation System. You will proform preventative maintenance, repairs to the equipment. See below for additional details on this terrific opportunity!
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Evaluate equipment and perform scheduled preventative maintenance to keep the Dematic system fully operational, especially during peak periods of the day. Perform emergency repairs as needed. Communicate with appropriate personnel the status and requirements needed to maintain the Dematic system. Train associates how to operate system.

- Experience with warehouse automation systems
- Previous experience working on automation and conveyor systems.
- Experience with PLC’s, optical devices, and electrical systems.
- Mechanical experience with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, guide rollers, conveyor belts, and related equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong computer skills as it relates to maintaining records, repair logs, and schedules.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely and 100 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to work all shifts as required and to respond to emergencies quickly.
- Safety First Knowledge (lock-out, tag -out), OSHA Experience
