Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 4 PM
What you'll be doing:
- Handle both insurance billing and direct patient billing processes
- Responsible for claims submission, ongoing patient billing, payments, and associated bookkeeping for inpatient and outpatient services
- Receive and respond to day-to-day inquiries from third-party carriers and patients, process correspondence, and maintain patient files
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience in a related role (Required)
- Epic HB insurance billing and follow-up experience (Required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, billing software, and medical terminology
- Experience with HIPAA and compliance-sensitive environments
- Attention to detail, and ability to collaborate independently and within a team
