responsibilities:
Controller will supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities and responsibilities including but not limited to; establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and monthly financial statements across multiple locations (5)
• Maintain P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and month end close.
• Oversee and manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, account reconciliations, accruals and fixed asset activity.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principle
• Provide recommendations to upper management and shareholders
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects, direct and manage a team of 3 support staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

 
qualifications:

• Proven accounting experience directing and supervising support staff
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
