D365 Developer:

The client's team is currently seeking a D365 Developer to be based out of an Iowa location (Oskaloosa, Muscatine, or Des Moines). This position is remote for the right candidate with travel as needed to Oskaloosa a few times a year for projects. In this role, you will focus on developing Dynamics 365 enterprise resource planning (ERP) in compliance with functional specifications. This role will provide expertise in the D365 platform to develop solutions that are both consistent with industry standards and customized to give the client a competitive advantage. It will help bridge both functional and technical domains.

What you will do as a D365 Developer:

  • Design and development of modifications or extensions to the standard Microsoft Dynamics applications

  • Test modifications for the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards

  • Collaborate with other consultants and support teams to complete design and testing documentation

  • Provide technical input in creating functional specifications when customizations or extensions to Microsoft Dynamics solutions are needed

  • Drive the effort to migrate the customers' data sources into Microsoft's sources, ensuring proper alignment of data models.

  • Offer support and expertise on Microsoft tools for migration and integration, and in development technologies and environments.

  • Implement reports per requirements documents and standards.

  • Provide work estimates that permit prioritization and assignments to be made.

  • Perform knowledge sharing with both the technical and functional personnel.

  • Maybe tasked with aiding the development of data migration procedures to integrate Microsoft Dynamics Solutions into legacy systems.
What you need to be successful:

  • 4-10 Years of relevant development experience.

  • Candidates must have a working knowledge of D365 F& O.

  • Experience in D365 Field Service is a plus.

  • Technical skills and experience in MS Dynamic AX.

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, X , MorphX, SQL Reporting Services, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.

  • Awareness of the prescribed Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology; understanding how the development and related testing activities fit into the overall customer engagement lifecycle.

  • Experience in creating reports, forms, modules, and integration with other systems using AIF/DIXF.

  • Understand the Life Cycle Services and Microsoft Sure Step implementation methodology.

  • Estimation of the development timeline.

  • Verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Work with some amount of self-directedness

  • Enjoy a team environment

  • Ability to work in a confidential manner with data

The Musco Information Technology Team is currently seeking a D365 Developer to be based out of an Iowa location (Oskaloosa, Muscatine, or Des Moines).
