- Recognize business requirements in the context of data visualization and reporting and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights
- Break down business capabilities to identify business facing datasets to appropriately align to organizational needs through a business perspective
- Integrate data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement
- Development of platform best practices to help foster an environment that enables content creation by business users
- 5 years in Property & Casualty Insurance with a thorough understanding of insurance data and core insurance metrics
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI / ThoughtSpot or other data visualization tools
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, MDX, DAX and Python
- Ability to manage large complex projects or processes independently
- Growth oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and stay current on best practices and emerging capabilities to analyze data
