Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you will transport products safely and deliver Windows and Doors on your assigned route to customers. You will load your truck the night before, as well as help in the warehouse as needed! Safety is our utmost priority so, in this role, we will look to you to ensure safe work practices and embrace and foster our safety culture. You will organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest assuring the most efficient delivery route and schedule. 

salary: $41,600 - $58,240 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Deliver various items to different addresses as assigned.
• Stick to a schedule and be time-bound on the job.
• Follow the prescribed routes most convenient for delivery.
• Load and unload the vehicle as needed.
• Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness.
• Collect payments whenever necessary.
• Ensure the customer receives the package.
• Maintain a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation.
• Follow road safety rules and regulations.
• High school graduate.
• Valid professional driver’s license for the required vehicle type.
• Prior experience as a delivery driver.
• Great time management and organization skills.
• Good ability to drive with no prior violations.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 75lbs

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

CDL Class B (1 year of experience is preferred)

CDL Class C (1 year of experience is preferred)

Box Truck Experience (2 years of experience is preferred)

Delivery (1 year of experience is preferred)

CDL A (1 year of experience is preferred)
