responsibilities:
- Log and respond to calls and tickets via the VMS helpdesk phone line and ticketing system
- Support field technicians with remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques
- Create system documentation and solutions
- Escalate unresolved issues to next level support team
- Assist field staff with installations of new products and product testing
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar discipline
- At least 2 years as a field technician or help desk/customer support professional
- Solid technical writing skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and vacuum systems
- Capabilities with MS Office software required; computer networking systems knowledge a plus
- This is a day shift position, but must be willing to do rotation for on-call work for one week every 8 weeks or so
- Ability to speak Spanish or French a plus
