As a Human Resources Assistant, Job duties include :
- Provide general administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as needed, including transmitting information or documents to employees and setting up accommodations for on-site visitors.
- File, retrieve, and maintain records, documents, and reports accurately.
- Attend meetings to record minutes and facilitate effective communication among team members.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for employees and candidates as required.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current Human Resources and Safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
- Arrange ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members, conducting surveys to identify training needs and monitoring program effectiveness.
- Maintain a database of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure accessibility and compliance with regulations.
Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably within HR and Safety departments.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Suite and HRIS software.
