Description:
- Application Architect's primary role is to participate in strategy and road map exercises, architecture evaluation, product selection, application and integration design.
- Provide directional guidance to developers around usage of common framework, customization for software products, technical standards and risk evaluation.
- The role is expected to work closely with solution architects, application teams, and vendors to support the adaption of various Proof of Concepts and implementation of system software.
- Be able to provide ongoing support to Dev team and vendors with challenges related to the implemented technology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with any custom technology (Java, .Net, Python, etc)
- 5 or more years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions (IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure etc)
- Ability to help teams transition from legacy technology platform to newer tech stack and be able to provide impact assessment
- Guide on implementing secure APIs, including any encryption implementations for data in transit and data at rest
- Must have good verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and subject-matter experts
