JR Project Accountant

***HYBRID schedule with growing company*** One of my firm's TOP clients wants to add a Project Accountant to their rapidly growing organization.  This role will work a hybrid schedule (3 to 4 days REMOTE).  My client is seeking a candidate with accounting experience within the construction industry. This is a unique position that will have an immediate impact on multiple projects that are based across the United States. salary: $42,000 - $48,500 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Obtain project documents for payment and compliance
• Process FF&E forecasts
• Create and provide project codes
• Process lender draws
• Reconcile and accrue taxes on invoices
• Collect, sort, code, file, review, and submit construction accounts payable documents for proper internal approvals
• Prepare new vendor forms and submit appropriate documentation
• Process invoices (and cut checks, as needed) in accordance with related policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
• Handle valid vendor and property inquiries timely to ensure a high-level customer service to both external and internal customers, maintaining an appropriate and professional manner
• Create and maintain capital project general ledger reconciliation reports monthly
