Lead Machinist

Randstad Staffing has partnered with a famile owned CNC Machining Company located in Anoka, MN that is looking to hire a CNC Lead Machinist. You must have at least 3 years of experience in CNC Milling, and at least 3 years of workin with Fanuc Controls, Haas, And Fadal tool controls. Must be able to lead a team while also running a machine or two at the same time. Direct Hire:  M - Th 5:00am to 4:00pm (Flexible start times, no later than 7:00am, 4 10 hour shifts). Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

The primary duties and responsibilities of the CNC Milling lead consist of but are not limited to:

• Programming, Set-up, and Running of close tolerance job shop type of work
• Supervise, troubleshoot, and assist lesser experienced CNC milling employees
• Minimum of 2 years using Gibbs CAM or similar/same CAM software
• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, running 2 machines at the same time is common practice as well lead/assist other employees in the department
• strong mechanical and technical abilities
• Must be able to communicate with supervisor and with other employees frequently throughout the day, and problem solve manufacturing challenges as they arise
• Visual acuity
• Fine motor dexterity
• Prolonged standing & walking for up to 10 hours
• Lifting Requirements: 50 LBS
