This position will is part of the Shared Platforms and Application (SPA) team providing technical analysis and support of the FlexNet Management Platform Suite (FNMS) application and interfaces. The selected candidate will be an excellent communicator with technical, analytical skills, and have knowledge of programming concepts.
Responsibilities:
Candidate possess a broad knowledge or principles of software asset management, software packaging, software deployment technologies and knowledge of licensing and procurement processes.
Understands and applies the concepts of various types of licensing models (user, processer, etc.) and can apply knowledge of those models to implement configuration and systems architecture to meet the business requirements of the software asset managers.
Ability to work with minimal instruction and guidance.
Candidate have responsibility to implement, support, and maintain web-based software supporting software asset management processes.
Candidate may be migrating on-premises system to vendor SaaS platform.
Ideally, candidate has technical knowledge and experience with the Flexera FNMS application and working knowledge of third-party interfaces including but not limited to SCCM, Service Now CMDB, VMWare, Citrix desktop virtualization, and Oracle.
Responsible for planning and executing systems upgrades of the FNMS environment. Includes project management, coordination of resources, and accountable that all project phases are complete successfully.
Responsible for working with Flexera vendor product management and account managers to develop mutually beneficial roadmaps to fill gaps in product offerings.
Research and understand updated product offering and reviewing with impacted parties and implementing these changes.
Ability to execute initiatives from the procurement organization and enterprise architects.
Skilled at documenting processes and educating team members on documented processes.
Develop relationships with other technical parties.
Lead problem investigations of significant technical defects with FNMS product and interfaces.
Superior problem solving skills are ability to work independently and with little direct supervision are necessary.
Develop leadership skills and mentoring other team members will be required in this role.
Occasional afterhours support will be required.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated; service oriented and possesses excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Capable of cross functional business analysis supporting operational processes for license management.
Implement and complete processes to maintain data integrity and quality assurance of the system.
Working knowledge of desktop tools such as Word, Excel, and project management tools is expected.

Qualifications:
The following technical qualifications are required or preferred for this position.
Required
- 2-4 years experience
- Experience with other facets of Information Technology Operations processes and technologies.
- Microsoft SQL server knowledge and comfort developing SQL queries is required.
- Knowledge of basic scripting tools including PowerShell
- Experience supporting and developing data integrations including writing SQL queries is required.
- Strength debugging application issues in Windows environments is required.
- IAITAM CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) recommended.
- ITIL Foundations certification recommended.
- Experience supporting Flexera's Inventory Manager Application including managing and maintenance and management of deployed Flexera Agent installations.
- Experience creating and maintaining FNMP integrations using Flexera Business Adapter Studio.
- Microsoft SQL server knowledge and comfort developing SQL queries is required.
- Basic Powershell scripting and debugging experience.
- 2 years' experience as business analyst or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge administrating Microsoft IIS Web Server and Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
- Prefer experience supporting applications in a distributed environment including analyzing network connectivity issues between servers.
- General knowledge of software licensing and compliance is recommended.
- Prefer knowledge and experience in hardware/software inventory products (Microsoft SCCM, BMC ADDM).
- Linux/Unix knowledge is recommended.
