Machinist/ CNC Operator

Are you an experienced machinist who uses heavy equipment to cut machinery parts made of different materials including steel, silicon, aluminum, and plastic? Must be able to read mechanical blueprints, make calculations, determine machine speed, perform precise cuts, to create tools, fixtures, building materials, and other products.If this is you please apply!

Responsibilities

We are looking for Experienced Machinist for clients in Macon, Milledgeville, and Mcintyre.Our company is seeking a skilled and precise manual Machinist to set up and operate machinery for fabricating, altering, and repairing machine parts, equipment, and tools. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under minimal supervision. You must also understand how to read mechanical blueprints, perform calculations, calibrate and maintain machinery, and make cuts with precision to create products that meet quality standards. We would prefer to hire a candidate that has attended a trade school, but we will accept experience in its place.

• Use a variety of precision and cutting tools and equipment, such as a drill press, chop saw, lathe, and push and pull broaches
• Cut, shape, and fabricate tools and machine parts
• Read and follow blueprints
• Understand and comply with industry regulations
• Regularly clean, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment as needed
