Responsibilities
-Perform a variety of activities relative to repair and maintenance of all aspects of the Physical plant,
with an emphasis on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
-Perform repairs on pumps, valves, motors, controls, steam regulators, boilers, exhaust fans, and
Manufacturing equipment; prepare for inspection and preventive/periodic maintenance of all
equipment and building.
- Responsible for mechanical system repairs and projects.
- Assist in electrical maintenance and other Buildings and Grounds functions as assigned.
-Prepare and conduct chemical/acid tests for cooling/air conditioning/Boiler systems.
-Maintain inventory of chemicals used and repair parts lists for cooling, boiler, water, and sewage
equipment to ensure proper maintenance is accomplished.
-Perform remodeling, redecorating, or other repair and maintenance activities such as painting,
carpentry, caulking and sealing, pouring and finishing cement, brick pointing, installing shelves and the
like as assigned.
-Advise the Director on the implementation of an effective preventive maintenance plan for Work order
management and completion.
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs
