As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining packaging equipment, troubleshooting and replacing equipment parts and troubleshooting electrical issues. A successful candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of manufacturing machinery. This is a direct hire opportunity that is eligible for overtime, shift differentials, paid lunch and the opportunity to grow! Must be willing to work a 2nd or 3rd shift for this role.

responsibilities:
- Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in fast paced work manufacturing environment
- Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, and replacement of mechanical equipment
- Work to reduce unplanned downtime through effective troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, disassembling and reassembling of machinery, overhauling gearboxes, pumps and motors.
- Perform mechanical work, overhauls, motor/gearbox replacements, valve and pump maintenance
- Perform quality, maintenance, and housekeeping checks and record results in automated computer system programs
- 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with rebuilding and repairing gearboxes, pumps and other manufacturing equipment
- Electrical troubleshooting experience with automated equipment in a fast paced manufacturing environment

- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: High School
