production manager

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a desire to lead team members in a fast paced, physically demanding work environment. If you fit this description and are looking for an opportunity in Greenville, South Carolina, then you have come to the right place!

• $60,000-$70,000 annually
• Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:30pm
• Lead a crew of 12-20 employees

Requirements

• Experience in a chemical production role is a plus but not required.
• strong leadership skills through both written and verbal communication needed.
• Basic computer skills are an essential part of this role (Excel, Word, ERP systems, Outlook, etc.)
• 3-5 years production management and supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of operation associates in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Efficiently schedule daily production, receiving and shipping to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage stock levels for raw materials and finished products.
  • Assure compliance with and performance of established standard operating, quality control and safety procedures.
  • Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and/or processes.
  • Assure compliance with environmental and safety procedures and regulations
  • Leads investigation and corrective action on any safety violations, accidents, production delays or quality issues under ISO protocol.
  • Assure compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Operation Manager.
