Description:
- This position will support the Telecom Midwest delivery team, responsible for the delivery of Network capability for all client business partners at new and existing locations.
- This requires the development of standards for new equipment and interfaces, pilot and full-scale deployments (weekly), EOL hardware replacement and update, leveraging multiple data and transport technologies across the Midwest region. Product Team interfaces with all business units (Real Estate, RRE, Transmission, Nuclear, Gas, Customer Delivery, Enterprise Protective Services), multiple telecom teams (provisioning, data and transport architecture), and 3 other regional teams for consistent successful performance of the same work, as well as with other IT teams (compliance, security).
- Bachelor's degree
- In addition to required degree, 2 years minimum of related work experience
- In lieu of Bachelor's degree AND 2 years minimum of related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 5 years minimum related work experience
- In addition to desired degree, 5 years related work experience
- Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals.
- 7 or more years working in the utility industry
- Agile Product Owner certification
- Experience with Jira
- Hybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to a client facility.

responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product Owner and drive various initiatives as directed
- Build, groom and prioritize the product backlog, continuously managing expectations with relevant stakeholders - including the senior leadership team
- Manage the planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior Huddles, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
- Develop a deep contextual understanding of our customer, worker and user needs
- Gather market feedback through user interactions, focus groups, and by performing industry research to support future development
- Write detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, designers and analysts to implement and deliver new products and features
- Collaborate with the organization on vision, strategy, decisioning, tactical execution, and measurement systems
- Communicate roadmap stages and timelines internally with key stakeholders
