Requirement:
- Enhance and maintain Python/PySpark code to process Hadoop data to generate Compliance alerts
- Proficient with writing Hive and Impala Queries
- Perform proof of concepts for new technology initiatives across surveillance compliance applications
- Support compliance application tasks such as software/infrastructure upgrades
- Prepare technical presentations and roadmaps for upcoming Initiatives for technology modernization
- Assist in software development through managing technology compliance in EARC system, including non-permitted technology remediation
- Support upcoming initiatives through architecture diagrams, design calls, and understanding business requirements
- Maintain a good understanding of the business being supported and its functions, processes, operations, and strategic direction.
- Python / PySpark / Hadoop development
- Experience with Javascript (React.js, Node.js preferred)
- Unix scripting
- Good experience in OOPS and design towards inheritance, aggregation composition, design patterns and have solid design principles.
- Ability to write medium to complex SQL queries
- Experience with Linux and Windows Operating systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Ansible deployment)
- Ability to evaluate, analyze, design and implement solutions based in the technical requirements.
- Follow and promote the use of developmental standards and procedures.
- Interact with management, operations areas, and other technology personnel
- Proficient with Atlassian development suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket), Microsoft Office suite (Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
- Proficiency in understanding and maintaining code bases written in Python, Javascript, and Unix shell
- Understanding of UI fundamentals - HTML / HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience working with a large data warehouse
- Experience in data formats with hierarchical data structures like JSON and XML.
