salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the retort equipment to ensure proper processing of food products
• Set up and adjust the retort equipment according to the processing requirements of the food products
• Monitor the temperature, pressure, and other processing parameters to ensure that they are within the required limits
• Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of the retort equipment
• Record and document the processing parameters and results for each batch of food products
• Follow established food safety and quality control procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of the processed products
• Assist with the troubleshooting and repair of the retort equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently
