Revenue Cycle Specialist

 Growing Nashville healthcare company is seeking great candidates for a growing revenue cycle team! This role is fully in-office in Nashville.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  3 years’ experience in full revenue cycle processes  mathematical acumen required  experience with various revenue cycle billing systems  Experience in navigating clearinghouses  Highly organized and able to track work flows through various tools  Proficiency with medical record technology required

salary: $50,000 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: The reconciliation analyst’s primary role is to ensure patient balances are
accurate from account inception to final payment including insurance balances and patient
responsibility.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
 Ensure daily cash posting to patients account is accurate and timely
 Apply patient payments to outstanding patient responsibility once insurance payments
have been posted

 Once insurance balances are resolved, review full account to ensure patient
responsibility is accurate according to contracts, benefits, and payment arrangements
 After account is paid in full, if any credits remain, process any refunds due including
writing requests, obtaining appropriate approvals, and refunding funds to original payers
via original payment method
 Submit adjustment requests for any unpaid balances after all collections efforts have
been exhausted, once approved, adjust balances in billing system
