SBA Closing Officer

We strive to provide a caring culture that supports your aspirations and success. Our client in the banking industry is looking to add a SBA Closing Officer. They are one of the global financial service leaders. This role sits out of their office in  Los Angeles, CA working a hybrid schedule.

salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Prepares closing checklists and works directly with borrowers to collect required documents.
• Communicates regularly with borrowers to answer questions and ensure understanding of loan process.
• Reviews all documentation collected to ensure all loan requirements are met prior to closing.
• Reviews and approves settlement statements prior to loan closing.
• Reviews and documents borrower’s equity requirements.
• Prepares SBA 7a and GP loan package, obtains SBA approval through ETRAN and prepares SBA 7a authorization to meet bank loan approval requirements.
• Funds loan draws in accordance with the SBA and bank required documentation.
• Issues cashier checks to pay all necessary loan related fees and costs. 
• Generates monthly production reports and prepares the G/L and SBA Bank Control Account Certifications.
• Tracks loan referrals within the Bank and prepares loan broker referral fee after loan closing with loans involving loan brokers.
