Senior Cloud Engineer

job summary:
Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to work within their Digital Imaging Solutions team. In this role, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment that creates and delivers innovative solutions. Prior experience with software development for a variety of platforms (desktop, mobile, primarily cloud), architecting and implementing scalable and resilient applications running on cloud platforms, and implementing infrastructure to operate, support, and maintain applications running on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). This role requires you to be onsite in the Irvine, CA offices on Monday's and Wednesday's.

responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to implement complex numerical algorithms from technical requirements and will be responsible for working in several of the following areas:

- Software development for a variety of platforms (desktop, mobile, primarily cloud)

- Architecting and implementing scalable and resilient applications running on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

- Implementing infrastructure to operate, support, and maintain applications running on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

- Real-time programming, multi-threading, inter-process communications, device drivers
