We are looking for an experienced Shipping manager to manage daily shipping and distribution operations. As a Shipping Manager your primary objective is to make sure that shipping and distribution are always timely, accurate, and secure.

The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time

Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret packing slips and acknowledge receipt of goods, enter all data into ERP system, process packing lists (sales orders)
- Ability to fill out bills of lading
- Familiarity with various forms used by freight carriers
- Must be able to estimate weight, and use the information to calculate the cost of shipping
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Pay close attention to detail.
