responsibilities:
- Use Bluejay optimization tools to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement and oversee warehouse crossdock strategies for streamlined operations.
- Design and implement efficient logistics processes to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain.
- Plan and optimize dock utilization to reduce congestion and delays.
- Identify opportunities for significant cost reduction within logistics operations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize logistics-related impacts on production schedules.
- Proficiency in Bluejay optimization tools or similar logistics optimization software.
- strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Experience in warehouse crossdock strategies and logistics process design.
- Knowledge of dock utilization planning and best practices.
- Familiarity with fork truck fleet management, including cost control and damage mitigation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- HS Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in logistics operations with a focus on optimization and cost reduction.
