Job Responsibilities:
- Works without risk or harm to self or others
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures.
- Safely operate both on and off-road vehicles.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards.
- Washing a variety of mining equipment and light vehicles
- Reducing the workload on the existing mechanics by delivering parts, moving supplies, and area/equipment clean up
- Inspect wash bay and perform proper reporting and inspections daily
- Must be willing to work a rotating shift
- Other job duties as assigned by management
- Previous mining experience is preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the day
- Experience with a skid steer and forklift preferred
- Must be able to understand and comply with company, local, state, and federal requirements
- Must pass a drug screen required
- Spirometry test must be completed. required
- Current MSHA part 48 metal/non-metal certification required
- Valid US driver's license required
