****Exciting opportunity for a bilingual Spanish Bids & Proposals Manager based out of our Andover, MA site or Arlington, VA site.****
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Bid and Proposal (B&P) team, act as central point of contact for assigned proposals from all sales territories and US Government (including research and development)
- Act as Project Manager for the Bid and Proposal (B&P) team for receipt of request through submission of compliant proposals to customer
- Manages the bidding interface between departments including Sales, Engineering, PMO, Logistics and those with sign-off responsibility
- Work with sales and assigned technical leads (Engineers, Project Managers, Logisticians etc) to translate technical specifications to develop effective technical, management and service solutions to win bids and increase revenue.
- Coordinate all internal resources (Product Management, Engineering, Technical Sales, Sales Operations, Contracts, Legal etc).
- Responsible for commercial and technical volumes.
- Review all customer requirements, and formally summarize and communicate requirements internally
- To give transparency to risks within the opportunity and work with stakeholders to provide mitigations
- Lead Customer Value Proposition (CVP) workshops, Lessons Learned (L2) reviews, win strategy, solutioning workshops and lead Gate Reviews
- Collaborate with Pricing lead to create financial model and work with management to gain final approval.
- Interface with Product Management and Engineering to develop new content for proposals as related to new products and/or features.
- Organize and track all requests and responses using company databases.
- Manage to tight deadlines and customer requests
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending meetings outside of normal business hours ~20%
- To seek to continuously improve the bid process brining in best practice and educating all stakeholders involved in the tender and response process.
- Understand status of performance to metrics and provide feedback on improvements in performance to standards and methods for improving efficiency
- Continuous learning in commercial and technical understanding of products

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, or a technical field highly desired.
- Advanced fluency and fully proficient in reading and writing in Spanish
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience with domestic, US Government and international proposals within a regulated industry.
- Working experience of multidisciplinary teams including PMO, Estimating, Engineering, Financial and commercial management disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of basic contract language
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Be capable of interacting positively with management and cross-functional peer teams
- Be capable of explaining technical procedures in writing or verbally
- Be capable of managing conflict
- Possess the ability to work unsupervised and drive major projects to completion
- Be capable of independent problem solving
- Possess strong time management skills
- Ability to manage to tight deadlines
- Domestic and/or International travel required 5-10%. Must travel internationally and be able to acquire all necessary travel documents
- Have strong interpersonal and communications skills
