Rapyd is hiring a full-time, creative, enthusiastic, and talented Paid Search Marketing Manager to join our growing SMB Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for our customer acquisition efforts targeting small and medium businesses with a particular focus on the Paid Search channels. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

You will join a team of best-in-class marketers and support the organization’s growth trajectory in a global marketplace. This individual will report to Rapyd’s Director of SMB Customer Acquisition, and will closely collaborate cross-functionally with the SMB sales teams, as well as within the marketing team.
Location: This role is based in San Francisco, Denver, or Miami.
Remote candidates are encouraged to apply as well and ability to work remotely will be based on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on execution on biddable media channels for paid search including developing audiences using Google Analytics, keyword research/mining, and quality score optimizations
- Work cross-functionally across the marketing team as well as sales and other teams to design and orchestrate impactful, targeted multi-channel marketing programs with focus on technical execution from search ads to landing pages through to account creation conversions
- Effectively manage our external agency who is responsible for buying on our behalf
- Manage budgets and continually optimize targeting, creative, and messaging and ensure KPIs are met.
- Work with the content team to develop compelling copy, support content creation, and ensure any ad and landing page copy is aligned with brand guidelines and messaging
- Using a hypothesis framework, plan and execute tests to scale campaigns and prove incrementally
- Understand target customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to develop messaging and value propositions that will resonate with SMB customers
- Be the voice of the SMB customer internally and prioritize best-in-class customer experiences across the full marketing funnel
- Stay up-to-date on B2B marketing trends and the competitive landscape, sharing information and recommendations to teams as needed
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience working in paid search, especially with Google ads
- Experience working globally in one or more regions beyond the United States: Europe, Middle East/Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America.
- Experience building and optimizing campaigns in ad platforms, but not limited to Google Ads and DV 360
- Ability to flex both creativity and analytical thinking skills while being customer-centric
- Strong measurement chops including experience with A/B testing and conversion lift studies
- Experience preparing, analyzing, and reporting on data and trends with ability to turn insights into actionable strategies
- Demonstrated experience in thinking outside the box to solve problems; using learnings from prior experiences and campaigns to inform decisions
- Deep understanding of the customer journey, persona targeting, and customer experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Experience with E-commerce, FinTech, or financial services a plus
