Willingness to travel to other locations as needed. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Bank’s automotive policy. Candidates will need to complete an application and submit to a background and credit check.
Job Summary
The Funder assists in completing loan applications, loan documents and funding of loans and acts as a back up loan officer when needed.
Essential Functions:
· Review loan documents
· Draft loan closing documents
· Coordinate loan closings with Settlement Agent and other parties
· Review loan closings document for accuracy and completeness
· Prepare and clear conditions
· Handle collateral documents
· Facilitate loan funding (wires, ACH, check, etc)
· Release wires when conditions are cleared
· Follow up on any additional items needed
· Accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan.
· Researches and resolves problems or complaints from internal and external customers.
· Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to documents and funding.
· Responsible to comply with all policies and procedures, laws and regulations, including but not limited to BSA.
· Responsible to behave in an ethical and non-discriminatory manner in carrying out all job responsibilities.
· Responsible to complete all assigned training in timely manner.
· Performs any and all tasks and projects as requested by management.
Non-Essential Functions:
· Performs back up duties to loan officer as needed including conducting loan interviews, construction inspections and disbursements, and completing mortgage and consumer loan applications accurately and in a timely manner, meeting bank standards.
Education and Experience:
High School degree or equivalent, minimum of 1 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Organizational skills and the ability to work with deadlines
· Dependable with excellent follow through
· Ability to analyze information
· Ability to perform data entry accurately
