Raymond West is looking for a dedicated Director of Sales to join our team! The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned teams within the sales department and reports directly to the VP of Sales. This leadership position is inclusive of planning, quota setting, reporting, management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales job design, sales program implementation, identification and recruitment of sales force talents, and administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for overall direction, coordination, evaluation, and profitability of the Department in their APR
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operational, financial and personnel activities of assigned staff and functions.
- Develop, implement, and administer Sales goals, operating policies, and procedures.
- Provide administrative leadership and supervision to Sales Staff
- Prepare annual operating budget recommendations; develop, implement, and monitor assigned budgets.
- Recommend, hire, orient, train and evaluate Sales staff.
- Monthly sales training events
- Weekly ride along with sales team for mentoring
- Monitor and coordinate staff development and training programs.
- Assume major management responsibility for a wide range of project/tasks associated with primary business operations.
- Ensure that all programs' activities and services comply with Company, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee communications and promotions for Sales.
- Develop and implement department processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communications to internal and external customers.
- Render decisions with respect to key department issues impacting overall service and performance.
- Create headcount reports for Sales so Executive Leadership can view.
- Lead Company or Department projects

- Directly supervises Sales Representatives in the Sales Department
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for achieving Raymond West market share goals for new equipment sales and field service sales.
- Coordinate all new equipment sales and field service sales functions to ensure that corporate goals for volume, profit and growth are achieved.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and managing all Sales Representatives.
- Responsible for coaching Salespersons to achieve minimum sales requirements.
- Responsible for assisting Salespersons in the development and implementation of a business plan.
- Responsible for developing a yearly budget.
- Responsible for interfacing with other departments to solve customer satisfaction issues.
- Responsible for assisting in closing open truck proposals when needed.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals for all personnel reporting directly to this position.
- Effectively communicate and interface with employees, customers, vendors, and other managers
- Evaluate sales efforts and results in new equipment and field service.
- Support sales personnel both in-house and by making joint sales visits.
- Resolve customer complaints where a solution cannot be achieved between a customer, a Sales Representative, and the Regional Sales Manager.
- In conjunction with executive management, establish sales policies for the company.
- In conjunction with executive management, determine sales territories for sales personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:
Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position.
Recommended preferred experience or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years' sales experience
- 2 years in a management capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel Requirement:
- Travel requirements can change based on business needs, as a standard this position can typically expect to travel 50% over the course of a year.

Pay Range:
- The salary range for this position is $125,000.00 base Bonus/Commissions. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
