Seeking a Visual Designer to work on a digital design application for some of the world’s top automotive clients. We want a strong designer with motivation and critical thinking skills to help us evolve a cross-brand design system. The candidate will have experience creating engaging digital graphic design outputs with a strong emphasis on interaction, navigation, and typography.
You will aid in the design of components, pages, tools, and interfaces. Creating protypes and working collaboratively with both creative and cross-discipline teams to create and bring to life premium digital tools and experiences. Professionalism, experience in an agile framework, and a rational approach are top qualities we’re seeking. This is a collaborative, cross-discipline team where communication, an understanding of basic marketing principles, and a curious mind will be crucial to your success. An interest in automotive marketing is an added bonus.

You will interact directly with a Senior UX partner, clients, senior management, product owners, project managers and developers. You must have good communications skills, both verbal and written. You will be familiar with standard web and mobile design technologies, best practices, WCAG accessibility as well as emerging trends and innovations.

Responsibilities:

• Absorb, adapt and convey brand aesthetic
• Develop high quality visual assets, then refine these into complete, functional design systems
• UI design with an understanding of UX design
• Experience working with scalable design systems
• Experience with responsive design
• Understand WCAAG Accessibility Standards
• Collaboration within a robust team environment consisting of UX, product owners, and developers
• Able to iterate in a fast-paced environment
• Communication and presentation skills
• Accepts and provides constructive feedback
• Own the work and manage time appropriately to meet established deadlines
• Independently lead work to bring clarity and solutions
• Responsible for executing solid interactive designs that innovate, answer the brief and delight our clients
• Articulate and present thoughts, creative and innovative ideas
• Be able to sketch ideas and interactions.
• Concepting skills are an added bonus.

• 2-5 years of experience
• Digitally-focused design portfolio with current work samples
• High attention to detail
• Contemporary design style (staying up to date with current design trends)
• Work is heavy in web/mobile/responsive web design
• Previous agency experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related experience
