What we do: The Enterprise Strategy Office at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York NY (FRBNY or “the Bank”) is responsible for working with senior leadership to develop the strategic priorities for the organization, communicate the strategy to both internal and external stakeholders and coordinate the execution of the Bank’s strategic plan. The Lead Strategy Associate reports to the Head of Strategic Planning in the Enterprise Strategy Office (ESO) and will help shape the strategic direction and priorities of the Bank in partnership with the Bank’s Executive leaders including colleagues from Finance, Risk Management and other ESO members. Your role as Strategy Director / Lead Strategy Associate is to identify and inform the opportunities, risks and strategic choices facing the organization. Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to establish enterprise-wide strategic objectives and cascade guidance to inform Group activities including the setting of goals and the prioritization of initiatives. Where needed, provide advisory / analytical services, produce business cases, implementation plans, and/or key metrics to support the execution of agreed upon objectives. Your role as Lead Strategy Associate (Strategy Director): Lead / participate in strategic planning process by collaborating with Bank leadership to establish enterprise-wide objectives, prioritize initiatives, and set direction across the Bank’s business lines Collaborate with stakeholders and business areas on the development of strategic frameworks, identify short and long-term choices facing the Bank, and ensure alignment on organizational priorities Establish Bank-wide strategic dashboard to monitor progress and facilitate tracking of key initiatives Monitor industry and global trends to explore new approaches that create value for central banking customers and constituents Contribute to discussions of the external environment and the Bank’s strategy with key stakeholders both Bank- and System-wide with an ability to understand the practical implications of identified trends Develop content for other internal and external discussions around the Bank’s strategy, objectives, and annual performance (e.g. Town Halls, Board of Governors meetings) Collaborate with colleagues across the Bank to establish priorities implement strategic initiatives Build key relationships and maintain effective communication and coordination within and across the team and the Bank.
