Job Description:

RBM Partners is looking for an outgoing, organized, sales-driven, creative, and reliable individual to add to their team. If this sounds like you, then we invite you to apply for our immediate opening as an Assistant Manager for The Groves to lease apartments and provide incredible customer service to our residents.

Job Duties:

  • Greet prospects and residents and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Tour community and featured apartments. Highlight amenities and close the sale.
  • Manage prospects via phone, email and in-person through effective follow-up and strong closing.
  • Process applications for approvals (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.), type leases, and schedule lease signings.
  • Secure new residents’ signatures on appropriate paperwork prior to move-in. Orient new residents to the community (turns over keys, reviews community rules, regulations, and procedures, point out mailboxes and review amenities, etc.).
  • Work with Community Managers on utilizing marketing strategies to secure traffic (competitive rental rates, promotions, locators, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager on approved renewal offers and retention plans. Take a leading role in managing the renewal process and ensure that all renewal offers, follow up and resident events are planned monthly.
  • Manage the delinquency and collections efforts for the portfolio per company standards with the support of the Community Manager.
  • Inspect apartments at move-out and prepare move-out deposit accounting.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in a multifamily, military, or student housing environment
  • Must be flexible, friendly, and able to multitask in a high-energy environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Yardi Voyage preferred.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week, including weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
