Position Summary / Purpose
As a Restoration Contents Manager, the ideal candidate will create high levels of customer satisfaction by exceeding their expectations and fulfilling the company's contractual obligations through timely and profitable delivery of restoration contents services.
Facilitate the timely and profitable delivery of all content services required to rapidly return customer’s property to pre-loss condition, minimizing repairs and downtime following property damage. Manage Staff to fulfill the needs of the
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Exceed established targets for responding to and completing contents estimates on losses.
- Maintain strategic relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Plan and execute contents projects to completion.
- Obtain written contracts and discuss payment terms and delivery of services with customers and any other related parties.
- Maintain efficient and accurate flow of contents cleaning procedures from pack out to the pack back
- Coordinate resource planning of contents staff
- Order materials required for contents and mitigation projects and coordinate delivery to job site or warehouse
- Perform personal property inspections and complete reports
- Effectively develop contents cleaning staff
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, training and discharging contents cleaning staff
· Monitor prod Maintain appropriate supply of materials, tools and equipment.
· Monitor and Maintain Fleet
· Perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
· Keep Warehouse Clean and orderly
· Schedule vehicle and equipment repairs.
· Make sure all vehicles have DOT inspection and number displayed.
· Ensure that receiving reports accurately match material received.
· Track usage and place orders for consumable materials.
· Provide recommendation to management when replacement or additional equipment is needed.
· Provides appropriate and safe storage for all materials and equipment.
· Clean trucks and restock inventory.
- Policy Implementation
- Insure proper reporting and documentation on contents claims.
- Report and document non salvageable contents
- Insure documentation match’s written estimate.
- Insure proper handling of Customer contents.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain project files, photos, and inventory list.
- Attend company meetings.
- Constantly looking for opportunities to add revenue to the company by developing relationships.
Working Relationships and Scope
- Works with Estimators to review and oversee contents estimates and documentation.
- Works with Operations Manager in hiring and discharge of contents division personnel.
- Coordinates with Marketing for follow-up and job evaluation with customers
- Coordinates with customer and administration function for timely collection of project payment
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Education and Experience
High school (or GED) diploma plus (2) to (5) years of industry experience.
5-7 years of Restoration experience and a demonstrated working knowledge of Packout and cleaning procedures.
Ability to write detailed estimates in Xactimate and T & M
- Mathematical skills
Adequate math skills. Ability to compute percentages and to verify the reasonableness of estimates, financial data and reports within the context of information provided.
- Computer skills
Working Knowledge of Xactimate
Working Knowledge of Contents System (Xact Contents or ICAT a plus)
Working Knowledge of DASH
Working Knowledge on all required Documentation platforms
Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Word, Excel and applicable job management software.
- Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Preferred
CPT or a related designation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,577.00 - $95,050.00 per year
