Job Role: Associate Product Manager
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite) | Texas Candidates Only
Duration: Full Time / Contract
What will you do?
· Conduct, gather and analyze product & consumer research data including web analytics, consumer responses/trends, and statistics.
· Recommend improvements and identify new product feature opportunities using available data
· Gather, document, and track business requirements for new features
· Prioritize product requirements from various internal stakeholders and external customer feedback/preferences
· Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product features, functional specifications, and user experience.
· Lead Product T-shirt sizing, feature prioritization, and support recurring standup meetings
· Define requirements for developers that provide the best solution for business needs
· Create basic wireframes, page flows & customer experience journeys
· Assist in quality assurance testing on products through QA, UAT and launch for the purpose of ensuring quality prod releases
· Validate new products or significant product changes in prod
· Create and track bug/defect tickets for engineering to fix product-related reported problems
· Liaise with Marketing to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products and assist in go-to-market plans for product releases
· Developing and managing product test plans, user guides and training material to support internal teams as well as external users
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
· Monitor and analyze product performance, collecting feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
· Get Voice of the Customer (VOC) and market data to help with identifying and prioritizing projects to prioritize in the product roadmap
· Create Weekly Release Notes, functional specifications/requirements and develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria
What are we looking for?
· Previous work experience as an Associate Product Manager, project management or similar role
· Bachelor's in computer science, business management, marketing, or a related field.
· Experience with Agile methodologies with software dev teams and tools for product development and project management
· Experience with project management tools (ex. Jira and Confluence)
· Reporting up to the Senior Product Manager and working closely in collaboration with the product development team.
· Experience in e-Commerce and/or Digital Media functions on UI/UX best practices for websites, email, and mobile content delivery
· Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback
· Proficiency in compiling project plans, PPT presentations and status reports
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to made data-driven decisions.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
· Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
· Manage concurrent projects, deliverables, timelines for all products dedicated to our platform
· Excellent analytical and qualitative skills with the ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
· Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
· Demonstrates a positive attitude, flexibility and can quickly pivot between tasks in fast moving dynamic environment
