Tax Accountant

The Tax Accountant will work closely with Tax Department Team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review business, individual and trust tax returns.
- Have the initiative to learn, research and develop new tax skills
- Becoming familiar with the firm's policies, procedures, and technical resources.
- Works well independently or part of a team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Two or more years of experience in public accounting – taxation
- Current CPA license required or on track to obtaining license.
- Willingness to hustle and meet deadlines while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Honesty, Positivity, Motivation, Respect, Fun, Trust and Teamwork
- Executive presence and the eagerness to act as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues and resolutions to clients.
- Ability to work hard and play hard in a fast-paced environment.
