TheMaintenance Training Instructor works to ensure that everymaintenance activity performed embodies REACH's vision and missionstatements.
Providing the best internal service, education, andmaintenance training opportunities possible, this role assists inguiding our aviation mechanic teams towards maintenance excellenceand uncompromised safety.
The MaintenanceTraining Instructor will assist in the development of maintenancetraining curriculums and courses, coordinate maintenance trainingevents, as well as deliver regular and ad-hoc training toMaintenance personnel.
Training topics include hydraulics, fuelsystems, powertrains and power plants, rotating controls, andoverall airframe familiarization with various helicopters utilizedacross the REACH / GMRfootprint.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities
- Developsand maintains maintenance training records
- Maintains compliance according to confidentiality, HIPAA, FAA / PRIAand other regulatory requirements.
- Willdeliver New Hire, Aircraft Model Specific, Maintenance trackingsoftware, Aircraft differences and Base Familiarization training tothe maintenance department.
- Assistsmaintenance employees with general maintenance training questionsand needs.
- Assists the National Director ofAircraft Maintenance Standards & Eduation with technicianstraining
- Coordinates factory, recurrent andcontinuing education training
- Developsmaintenance Learning Management System training classes
- Develops and implements ideas for recurrenttraining with the National Director of Aircraft MaintenanceStandards & Education
- Travel across theU.S. is required with this position.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- ValidFAA Airframe & Power plant License
- 5years of helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of 2years of experience working under CFR part 135 HAA environment andbase duties (including track and balance experience)
- Experience functioning in a supervisory,project manager or inspector capacity, preferred
- Prior trainingexperience in the rotor wing industry and / or Methods of Instructiontraining (MOI), preferred
- 2 Years ofexperience with RAMCO required
- 2 Years ofexperience as an AMT with EC145 experience
