What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Recruitment Coordinator position at Reading & Math, Inc.?
California Reading & Math Corps recruits, trains and places nearly 200 AmeriCorps members across the state each year. This temporary, part-time position will work to usher prospects through the early stages of the talent identification cycle in support of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy. This will be done by processing applications and scheduling and conducting screening interviews with quality, diverse candidates to serve as Reading & Math Corps tutors. The Recruitment Coordinator will closely monitor applicants in all regions to ensure timely scheduling and screening of applicants during the 2022-23 hiring season from January – July 2022. This position will observe confidentiality of all applicant, program and organizational information.
Responsibilities:- Applicant Sourcing
- Build relationships with organizations in each community served by California Reading & Math Corps.
- Encourage organizations to spread the word to their networks build applicant pipelines.
- Support position posting on college and other job boards.

Applicant Screening
- Screen applications for eligibility and manage phone screen scheduling process. This includes sending scheduling emails and following-up to ensure interviews are scheduled in a timely manner.
- Send email communications, keep detailed notes, conduct and document phone interviews, and process candidates accordingly in the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System.

Collaboration
- Work with Program Staff to make decisions about moving candidates forward to the final interview stage.
- Consult with program team to understand needs of each site, troubleshoot issues and identify potential solutions to execute when needed.
- Organization
- Ensure thorough, complete and accurate communications with all appropriate parties in a high volume environment. Keep specific, objective documentation records of all interviews and candidate communications.
- Abide by a consistent work schedule on a daily and weekly basis.
Secondary Responsibilities
