Location: Columbus, OH
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based upon business needs.
Travel Required:
75% Local travel every day, and time required will vary based on the scope of the job.
Job Purpose
The Central Ohio Installation Services Manager is directly responsible for the financial performance of Central Ohio Installation Services. It is the responsibility of this position to drive results and implement key business strategies to deliver excellence to our customers in all installation services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation services team by building strong business relationships, collaboration, open and honest communications, and demonstrating the highest level of integrity.
- Manage installations to ensure employee safety, a positive and productive environment, effective employee training, and establish performance metrics.
- Record all customer complaints and corrective actions established to address customer concerns.
- Coordinate work and scheduling with subcontractors.
- Ensure accuracy for field measurements and site compliance.
- Ensure all jobs are ready for install, and track and bill for dry runs.
- Oversee purchasing and maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Ensure accuracy of field measurements and site compliance.
- Review warranty policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Resolve customer warrant-related issues.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Proven experience in project management or installation management
- Strong knowledge of installation processes and techniques for construction, building service industry, or dock and overhead doors.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, inspiring and developing individuals and teams to achieve career growth and higher levels of contribution.
- Ability to actively participate in meetings at the executive level to share ideas, evaluate options, and to provide upward feedback
- Ability to build respect among supervisors, peers, and subordinate through trust, ability to have open and honest conversations, and fulfilling commitments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages installation associates, and subcontractors.
Work Environment:
Required to work onsite at customer location, ensuring safety, and housekeeping requirements are met.
May have exposure to outside elements, including extreme heat or cold.
Physical Demands:
The employee is to occasionally Stand; Walk; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee is regularly Sit; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
