What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Specialist position at Real Soft, Inc.?
Hours 8-5pm
Health Care Experience with Claims Entry.
MS Office Experience.
Entry-level position with either limited prior training or appropriate licenses/training certifications.
Enters and edits medical bill data.
Resolves missing or inconsistent information.
Makes necessary corrections of the information entered.
Compares data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
Compiles, sorts and verifies the accuracy of data to be entered.
Reviews error reports and enters corrections into the computer.
Transmits entered information into the database.
Files or routes source documents after entry.
Maintains reference library of company and industry reimbursement policies.
Analyzes and Determines how the Medical Bills should be paid.
Has basic skills in an analytical or operational process to perform routine tasks.
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and adheres to quality guidelines.
Work is completed with close supervision or under clearly defined procedures.
Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems; has limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
