Job Title: Receptionist/General Office Assistant
Job summary:
Provide customer service and clerical support for the Closing Team.
This position is responsible for front desk coverage.
The General Office Assistant assists the Closers in maintaining client relationships, generating new business, promoting the closing teams, and promoting Burnet Title s products and services.
Answer incoming telephone calls and greet clients for closings. Order title work and review for title requirements. Submit requests for additional information regarding each transaction (HOA, payoffs, etc.)
Draft appropriate documents for closing. Field customer inquiries and respond with the necessary information, in a timely manner. Copy, scan and fax documents and information, to assist the Closer.
Retrieve files, file paperwork, prepare files for imaging and storage. Technical data entry of specific order details/information into the CORE database.
This position would also provide support in the area of accounting (balancing files, depositing funds, cutting checks for closing).
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
Skills Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook), Strong communication skills, Must be well organized and detail oriented. CORE Direct experience preferred. Ability to bend/squat and reach on occasion. Able to lift items up to approximately 15 pounds.
Work Experience Minimum 2 years of experience working with a title insurance company or other real estate services company preferred.
