Overview
Supervisor: Senior Manager
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm M-F, additional hours may be required.
Summary:
This role is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and use any finance/billing experience! The Analyst will be responsible for monthly maintenance of resident services properties billing via PURE tool and spreadsheets. This will include: ensuring all utility bills have been received; reviewing, identifying, and researching potential problems; clearing all discrepancies, drafting any new rules at a property or client level in a timely manner determined by the billing calendar. Requires initiative, ability to think and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare routings for account managers that require property approvals
- Contact utility vendors to request information regarding issues on accounts
- Complete routings from account managers at client request
- To meet or exceed 98% accuracy in billing.
- Develop and maintain exceptional knowledge of client database, customer accounts, and PURE tool.
- Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of municipal patterns and function.
- Complete, present accurate back-up information, when requested by an internal or external source.
- To perform additional tasks as required.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record and conduct oneself in a positive, professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
- A degree and/or at least 2 years of experience with numbers
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to self-motivate and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as a team member or individually
- Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and manner.
- Knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel software.
