Position: Brand Ambassador

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Salary: $15 an hour

Hours: Part-time, contract. Subject to business needs, mostly weekends.

Work Environment: This position operates almost exclusively on location, at scheduled art fairs, festivals, and pop-ups

Position Overview:
As a Rebel Nell Sales Associate, you will be a fashion-forward brand ambassador who represents our core values of supporting and uplifting women and shares this message as a leader in our community. You should be a team player who is goal-oriented and driven to achieve sales targets. Brand Ambassadors are responsible for representing Rebel
Nell at pop-up sales events, performing set-up and tear down, and creating social media content. You will provide unforgettable customer experiences and build authentic and genuine relationships through a sales-driven approach.
On-the-job training is provided to help you develop your strengths and learn about the many fascinating aspects of a career in an innovative and fast-growing fashion company.

Essential Functions: Include but are not limited to:

Drive Revenue & Build & Achieve Sales Goals:

• Achieve personal and team sales goals through effective selling strategies
• Utilize sales and conversion skills developed through on-the-job training
• Cultivate new and existing customer relationships to build loyalty and repeat business

Deliver a WOW! Customer Experience:

• Provide a memorable and personalized customer experience
• Act as a personal shopper by using your creativity to build entire looks using Rebel Nell jewelry

Be a Brand Ambassador:

• Embrace the Rebel Nell mission and desire to be an agent of change for our community and beyond
• Act as an advocate for the brand both at sales events and in your community
• Be in the know about upcoming events, actively participate in event execution, network with customers, and share event leads with the executive team

Perform Event Operations:

• Arrive on time and work scheduled shifts
• Perform event preparation, execution, and take-down
• Perform POS transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure accurate inventory management processes including but not limited to accurately processing sales and returns on our POS system
• Participate in product training meetings

Content Creation

• Work in tandem with the marketing team to create content that drives awareness and sales via Rebel Nell’s digital channels

Our Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• 1-2 years previous retail experience preferred but not required
• Excellent selling and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, positive, and a team player
• Dependable, timely, and adapts well to change
• Passion for Rebel Nell’s mission and growth opportunities
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Proven ability to learn and comply with company policies and procedures
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and move at least 30 lbs
