We are hiring a Head of Sales to join our team. This role is located in Washington, DC and the Head of Sales is expected to work regularly from our Washington, DC headquarters office. Occasional travel may be required.
As a Head of Sales, you will:
- Build and lead a team that identifies, qualifies, captures, and closes Rebellion Defense SaaS products and services.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, products, and marketing teams and provide input to help develop new product offerings within existing and new lines of business.
- Maintain sales relationships with customers and partners across the defense and national security sector of the US Government.
- Successfully achieve the company's sales quota.
- Personally engage in strategic account selling, business development, and ongoing customer success.
- Demonstrate a player-coach approach that includes leading the team and making a meaningful contribution to specific deals.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks.
- Support the sales compensation process and decision making in collaboration with internal partners. This may include establishing territory and quota assignments and identifying compensation targets.
Qualifications for this position include:
- 8 years of professional sales experience which includes some experience managing a sales team.
- Ability to lead and have a successful track record of selling software products to the US government, particularly to the defense and national security enterprise.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract close for multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years of software sales experience.
- Active Top Secret US Security Clearance.

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $195,000 to $237,000 regardless of final candidate location within the United States. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
