$81,000 - $122,000
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.
Summary
Responsible for providing a broad range of Human Resources services and support to management and employees including, but not limited to employee relations, coaching and counseling, recruiting and retention, employee corrective action, investigations, and assisting with the development, implementation, and administration of HR related programs and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide employee relations, coaching, and counseling to supervisors and employees including outplacement counseling, and exit interviews
- Conduct workplace investigations regarding potential employee policy and procedure violations
- Serve as an ombudsman for employees and facilitate successful solutions to employee relations issues or concerns
- Work closely with HR Management to develop and implement successful performance management programs, career and succession planning, and professional development of staff

- Administer and participate in the recruitment and selection process to secure properly skilled and motivated employees in a timely fashion to achieve goals and requirements
- Administer and participate in the disciplinary process and records within the organization to ensure consistency and fairness to all parties, while meeting the policies, programs, and objectives of the organization
- Administer and participate in the grievance process (union and/or non-union)
- Administration of employee programs as assigned. Areas of assignment may include:
- Employee benefit programs include pension, 401k, and health and welfare plans. Includes preparing and filing annual 5500s, overseeing external and internal audits
- Employee training programs. Includes review and update to training programs and materials in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Administer employee leave programs, including, but not limited to FMLA, WPFML, STD, LTD, worker’s compensation
- Serve as Designated Employee Representative for Substance Abuse Testing
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and policies
- Develop and conduct a New Hire Orientation presentation to familiarize new employees with policies, procedures, the HR organization, and company culture expectations
- Maintain the appropriate employee records in accordance with state and federal laws and company policy and guidelines
- Stay informed on HR best practices, and employment law changes – evaluate and implement in a manner that ensures high performance and compliance.
Qualifications
Incumbents must have demonstrated knowledge and abilities in these areas. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or another related field, and five (5) years or more years of experience in a broad range of Human Resources functions or an equivalent combination of education and experience and a strong accounting background preferred.
· Hands-on, direct, and independent experience in delivering employee relations, recruitment, compliance, or similar functions is required, within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
· Experience in coaching/counseling supervisors and employees relative to performance issues and improvement, discipline, and corrective action, recruiting, selection, and promotion desired
· A working understanding of the employment laws and regulations and standard policies and practices related to performance management and employment in a
manufacturing company environment
Computer Skills
· Above-average proficiency with Microsoft Word is required with average proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and listening global and cultural awareness, and relationship management.
· Sound investigative, counseling, and problem-solving skills, as normally associated with the handling of employee complaints and performance management issues
· Ability to learn and understand the positions for which the incumbent is recruiting quickly and accurately
