The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team, with a primary focus on winning net-new business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, and fostering strong relationships with channel partners to help expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
What You’ll Do as a Commercial Account Executive:
- Focus on net-new business acquisition and exceed the assigned sales quota of $750k annually.
- Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their unique cybersecurity needs and aligning them with the right solutions within Recorded Future’s portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking with channel partners.
- Collaborate with channel partners to identify and pursue joint sales opportunities, providing support and resources as needed.
- Conduct thorough product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Recorded Future's solutions to key stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts to successfully close deals with net-new customers.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position Recorded Future's solutions in new customer markets.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience for net-new clients.
- Track and report sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to sales leadership on progress toward net-new business goals.
What You’ll Bring as a Commercial Account Executive:
- 2 year of closing/quota experience within security
- Proven track record as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role within the cybersecurity or technology industry, with a specific focus on net-new business acquisition.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and solutions, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with channel partners and understanding the dynamics of channel-driven sales to drive net-new customer growth.
- Guidepoint, Optiv, Gotham preferred
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Highly self-motivated, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales in the net-new business segment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team
- Willingness to travel at least twice per quarter to meet with potential new clients and partners
