What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Public Sector position at Recorded Future?
The Role: The VP of Sales will drive the growth of new and existing business across the Public Sector (Federal & SLED). To be successful you will need to be a detail-oriented, process-driven, roll-up your sleeves type leader who can build confidence amongst the sales team while leading by example and driving activity, behavior, and outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and revenues for all Public Sector territories
- Oversee and manage multiple functions across the Public Sector
- Assist in crafting incentive plans to ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are met or exceeded
- Work with CRO, Executive Management and Field Reps to execute targeted sales campaigns
- Ensure smooth onboarding and training of new hires; assist with developing training and onboarding programs
- Recruit, train and grow the team to hit hiring plan
- Coach, develop, and progress talent within the company
- Oversee performance improvement plans for underperforming reps and managers as needed
- Work to grow channel business to ensure partners are leveraged to increase pipeline and add stickiness
- Plan and execute bi-annual all hands meetings, quarterly business reviews with each team, and annual performance reviews with each team member
What you’ll bring:
- Experience working within the security industry
- Proven track record of growing sales from 100m to 200m ARR
- A background working with and scaling teams in a high growth technology company
- Existing relationships with larger target companies in region and access to IT decision makers
- Experience in building out and managing a channel & partner ecosystem
