What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Engineer position at Red Arch Solutions?
Red Arch Solutions (RAS) is building robust CDF Data Warehouse solution that supports all-source data analysis and advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) that can be leveraged by all branches of military service, combat support agencies (CSAs) and Combatant Commands (CCMDs). The CDF Data Warehouse will help the warfighter make informed decisions by supporting advanced AI/ML on all available data resources to provide advanced analytics capabilities.
As a baseline, the CDF Data Warehouse will provide warehouse functions to the CDF Data Broker Platform . RAS will design, prototype, operationalize, and maintain the CDF Data Warehouse using the data provided by the CDF Data Broker Platform. The warehouse will be designed with the intent to franchise the solution, allowing other agencies and missions to benefit and for the data supply to grow as it is integrated with other systems.
For this program we need a Test Engineer who will:
- Plan functional and event level testing for collection of data required for analysis and to synch test events with supported decision points.
- Design data sampling schemes to optimize the information/resource balance and to control testing uncertainties. Select, coordinate, and calibrate instrumentation, collection, and data management tools, targets, & facilities. Ensure test readiness including training of test event participants re conduct of the event, equipment readiness, and security, legal, and privacy compliance arrangements.
- Produce associated Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports/Briefings, Data Management Plan
- Coordinate test and evaluation strategies, TEMPs, test concepts, test plans, and execution of T&E activities for assigned projects and programs.
- Experience in three or more of the following areas:
- Test activities, to include coordination of all test related certifications and evaluations such as interoperability; security; and other special test events, as required
- Developing and maintaining Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP)
- Operational and interoperability test oversight activities
- Developmental test oversight activities
- Planning, development, and execution of Test Event Plans
- Planning, preparation, and conduct of Test Readiness Entrance and Exit Test Reviews
- Development and delivery of test reporting products (e.g., reports, briefings, metrics, etc.)
- Development, maintenance, updates, and staffing of the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedules
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree 10 years, Bachelor Degree 8 years or Master Degree 6 years experience.
- Experience performing test planning for DoD/IC software development programs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Testing Cloud-based solutions.
