Job Posting for Admitting Representative at Redlands Community Hospital - PATIENT...
Reporting to the Admitting Manager, this position interviews incoming patients or their representatives and is responsible for information that is accurate and complete. Prepares admission forms and obtains necessary documentation as required. Answer patient’s questions and must be a resource of information regarding hospital policies and procedures, including but not limited to, personal property safekeeping and interdepartmental processes relating to admitting functions. Is responsible for patient confidentiality.
Experience in a hospital admitting department preferred.
Ability to understand medical terminology desired.
Current CPR certification required within 2 months of hire. (American Heart Association only)
