Work Hours/Shift:
PRN Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Scheduling patient Diagnostic, Surgical, GI and Cath Lab procedures/admissions in the Meditech Scheduling Module
- Obtaining and entering accurate insurance information.
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Transcribing physician orders and sending to appropriate departments
What You Will Need:
- Graduate from accredited professional school of nursing
- Prior scheduling experience preferred. At least two years’ experience in patient care in a hospital setting required. Knowledge of outpatient procedures preferred
- Completion of OR Scheduler University Parts 1-4 within 90 days of employment
- Current Georgia RN License
