Job Summary:
The Senior Account Executive owns a territory/region. They do this by growing new and existing campus relationships within the higher education space. The responsibility would include the upkeep and management of said territory. Adding value where needed. Including but not limited to new product offerings, benefits, and features. This will holistically increase sales and exceed goals. Again, relationship management is key. As a Senior Account Executive, you will collaborate with others in your role, to better build and develop a vision to move RedShelf into the future.
Duties:
- You own a territory; it is your responsibility to develop and grow it
- Establish new relationships with current RedShelf clients and work with their needs and concerns and allow them to learn about you and the value add of RedShelf and its products/services
- Log everything, every call, contact, and note on the CRM.
- You are a team member, not a sole contributor. We do better by working together
- Use Slack to communicate within the organization
- Travel when needed
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Marketing to better develop tools and ways to increase revenue and exposure for new/current clients
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
- You know how to work with technology at a highly efficient level (Slack, MS Office, ZD Sell, Salesforce, etc.)
- You have a strong desire to own, build and design a territory
- Building relationships and maintaining them is important to you
- You are a fluid “people person” you can build rapport, establish trust, and find the right “ethical” solution for the client/prospect
- You don’t want to just have a job; you want a career in which you are the disruptor in the industry that will help students for the future. Anyone can sell a widget that a person doesn’t need, this is not that.
- You are not a “Master” or “Expert” at sales
